This customer owns a big property in falmouth and has many more located in cornwall, during last december i helped refurbish a new extension which involved painting several rooms for him.
The rooms were all re-skimmed and new skirtings – doorframes so very little prep was needed which isnt always the case on most of my jobs.
One of my last jobs there i completed was to sand back a hard wood work top, i used a Makita orbit sander to tackle some of it then had to switch to a belt sander.
This process took almost five hours to get it back to bare wood but was worth the effort and had to be done.
The work top then had three coats of Osmo oil, Osmo oil is water repellent and indelible, it does not crack, peel or blister, will also enhance the natural beauty of the wood, is ideal for use in high humidity areas and provides a tough durable long lasting finish.
